When to hunt
Mid-August – mid-September
Black bear
Archery and firearm hunts over stands we bait and monitor before you arrive. Bears here feed hard on the berry crop and come to bait predictably in the evenings.
September – October
Bull moose
Calling the rut in the bays and river mouths around camp. Includes a Lund with a 25 hp motor plus a Grumman with a 15 hp and a trolling motor for quiet work.
September – October
Cow & calf moose
Tag-dependent, same package inclusions as the bull hunt at a lower rate.
Sept 15 – mid-October
Grouse & duck
Shotgun hunting on the trails and shorelines paired with the best fall walleye fishing of the year.

Licences, tags & export
- 8-day sport fishing licence: about $50 · 8-day conservation licence: about $30
- Non-resident hunting licences: about $130 small game, $250 black bear, $480 moose tags
- Guided moose hunts: $100 per half day extra
- Licences and export permits (about $225 CDN) are required to take meat and hides out of Canada
